Information we collect

Information you give us

• Messages and support requests: your name, email address and anything you include when you contact us, for example about a game, a job application or a publishing submission.
• Job applications and submissions: CVs, portfolios, links to builds and the related contact details you send us.

Information collected automatically when you play

• Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone and screen size.
• Identifiers: advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where you allow it), app-specific identifiers and installation identifiers generated by the services we use.
• Usage information: how you play, for example sessions, levels reached, in-game events and your interactions with ads.
• Network information: IP address and the approximate location (country or region) derived from it. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data.
• Purchase information: if you buy in-game items, the app store processes the payment. We receive confirmation of the purchase (item, price, date) but never your full payment card details.

Our website

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of the request) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use information

• To provide and operate our Games, save your progress and deliver content.
• To understand how our Games are played, fix bugs and improve gameplay and performance.
• To show advertising, measure how ads perform and limit how often you see the same ad. Personalized advertising is only shown where you have agreed to it or where the law allows it.
• To process in-game purchases and prevent fraud, cheating and abuse.
• To answer your messages and provide player support.
• To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, our players and our Services.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process personal data on these legal bases:

• Contract: to provide the Games and features you choose to use.
• Legitimate interests: to keep our Services secure, prevent fraud, understand usage, improve our Games and show non-personalized advertising, in a way that does not override your rights.
• Consent: for personalized advertising and other processing where the law requires consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with the law.

Advertising and your choices

Our Games are free to play and supported by advertising. Our advertising partners may collect identifiers, device information and IP addresses to show ads, measure their performance and, where permitted, personalize them.

Where required by law, for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personal data is used for personalized advertising. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings inside the Game, where available.

You can also control ad personalization on your device:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads) to delete or reset your advertising ID.
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to stop apps from requesting to track you.

Opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads. You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:

• with service providers that help us run our Games and website (for example hosting, analytics, crash reporting and support tools), under contracts that limit how they use it;
• with advertising and measurement partners, as described above;
• with app stores and payment providers to process purchases;
• when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our players, our company or others;
• with a buyer or successor if our business or games are sold, merged or reorganized;
• with your consent.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, for example while you keep playing our Games, and then for a limited period for security, fraud prevention and legal reasons. After that it is deleted or anonymized. Support emails are kept while we handle your request and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you contact us again.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@gamesplaybox.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

International transfers

We and our partners may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age that applies in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the consent required by law, we will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• object to or restrict certain processing, including for direct marketing;
• withdraw consent where we rely on it;
• receive your information in a portable format.

To make a request, email privacy@gamesplaybox.com with the subject “Privacy request” and the name of the Game. We may need to verify your request before we act on it, and we will reply within the time required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or the UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents

California law gives you the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising identifiers shared with our ad partners may count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out by resetting or deleting your advertising ID or turning off ad personalization on your device, or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, if the changes are significant, let you know through our Games or this website.
